Ram Charan Teja's much awaited Bollywood debut Zanjeer and its Telugu version Thoofan have finally made it to screens and of course, the film opened to negative reviews.
One, who is reading the reviews of the film, is wondering how critics lamented debutante Ram Charan Teja who also happens to be son of Union Minister for Tourism. Apparently, the reason is that they have "hurt" by Charan's dialogues in the film.
Well, the very poorly-conceived scenes of Ram Charan and journalist Jaya Dev (essayed by Athul Kulkarni in Zanjeer and Tanikella Bharani in Telugu) have drawn a huge flak from scribes.
The very first scene between ACP Vijay (Charan) and Jaya Dev where the duo meet itself has gone wrong with journalists. Vijay alleges Jaya Dev for writing some scrap without a proper reason and even questions him whether he knows the meaning of challenge or else wants to check it in Google?
"This might be one of the reasons for all the brickbats on Ram Charan's Zanjeer and poor reviews. Whatever, this is the way a critic should write a review. Unlike many Telugu critics, Bollywood critics are bold enough to mention facts," expressed a movie buff.
Definitely, the poor reviews which launched a personal and scathing attack on Charan have turned many heads and showed the taste of journalism to Charan. That's the power of journalism folks!
