Once again, the film personalities settled in Hyderabad are under focus. It is being rumoured that the Revenue department is likely to issue notices to director Raghavendra Rao.
They allege that Raghavendra Rao has flaunted the norms and constructed a commercial multi-plex in the land given for other purpose.
In the past, then government had allotted lands in prime locations to Raghavendra Rao, KS Prakash and Krishna Mohan to build recording theatres and studios.
However, due to various developments and the hike in land rates, Raghavendra Rao went ahead and built a commercial complex there.
For the same, he acquired the necessary papers to avoid any legal hassles from the TDP government which was in power then. At that time, late P Janardhan Reddy vehemently criticized the misuse of land.
Now, with the T government in power, the Revenue department has once again prepared a detailed report about the alleged siphoning of funds and misuse of land.
The officials say that a fresh notice would be served to Raghavendra Rao and that he will be given 10 days time. And if he does not give a convincing reply, then immediate action would be taken disclose the officials.
