Producer Prasad V Potluri, popularly known as PVP, entered into movie business through movie financing. In Chennai and Hyderabad, he opened up corporate houses and started lending money to big producers for nominal interest rate.
He soon became popular in both the industries and he then ventured into movie production. In short span of time PVP produced about 18 movies.
Strangely now he is taking finance for his movies from traditional financiers like Satya Rangaiah. The guy who began career as corporate movie financier is now taking loans from traditional financiers. All this is because of his bad calculation.
He invested heavily in Mahesh Babu's "Brahmotsvam" and "Size Zero" and both of them turned out to be huge disasters denting big hole to his company's account.
He has also invested huge money on "Ghazi" that is scheduled for 24th Feb 2017 release. So he is said to have running low on liquid cash flow. So PVP too is borrowing money from other financiers to make his business flow.
He has already stopped producing movies in Tamil and the office in Chennai has become defunct.
