Lady luck is not favouring Puri Jagannadh these days. He hoped to direct Chiranjeevi's comeback film and later planned to do movies with Mahesh Babu and NTR but all of them have failed to materialise. Very recently, he felt happy when Venkatesh gave his confirmation to act under his direction.
But latest reports say Venkatesh might not be taking this movie immediately and he may ditch Puri too. After the release of "Gautamiputra Satakarni", director Krish officially announced that he is going to direct Venkatesh's 75th film and it would soon hit the floors. Buzz is that Venkatesh is now planning to put Puri Jagannadh's movie on hold.
Krish has now become more popular after Balakrishna's movie. He brought lot of hype to Balakrishna's 100th film, which is a milestone in the star's career. So, Venkatesh is also hoping that by teaming up with Krish immediately, his 75th movie would get huge buzz.
Venky has bad image of dropping projects and not sticking to the promises. He has scrapped many films in the past.
Recent movie was director Kishore Tirumala's "Adalloo Meeku Joharlu". After delivering blockbuster with Ram starrer "Nenu Sailaja", Kishore Tirumala got offer from Venkatesh and the director prepared the script of "Adalloo Meeku Joharlu" which was officially announced. But Venky dropped the movie citing various issues.
Will Venkatesh do the same for Puri Jagannadh? Or would he do Krish and Puri's movies in parallel?
