Director Puri Jagannadh is known to have a great taste for heroines. Few years back, he identified Rakshita from Bangalore and brought her to Tollywood through ‘Idiot’.
Buzz is that as gratitude, Rakshita showered Puri with many gifts.
Not only that, Puri used to recommend Rakshita for other films and that’s how she got ‘Nijam’ with Mahesh Babu under Teja’s direction.
However, few years later Rakshita got married and went back to Bangalore.
And now, it is heard that Puri has found his new Rakshita. She is none other than Catherine Theresa. This fish eyed beauty made her debut with ‘Chammak Challo’ and Puri was reportedly floored by Catherine.
Later, she was doing ‘Paisa’ with Krishnavamsi but the film is yet to release. So, Puri picked her up and brought her for ‘Iddaramayilatho’. However, the film flunked big time.
But Puri has not given up on Catherine and has again roped her for his new film ‘Heart Attack’ with Nithiin. His Bhajana batch is reportedly asserting that Puri has found his new Rakshita. We have to see how Catherine lives upto this new hype.
