Just recently there was quite a bit of sensation in the filmnagar circles and this was due to the tiff between director Puri Jagannadh and producer D V V Danayya regarding remuneration settlement for the film ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’. However, within the next day or so, things were ‘settled’.
A press meet was arranged and both Puri, DVV spoke about the film and how it would surpass expectations of all. The film’s official release date as October 18th was also announced. All this was fine but it was reportedly noticed that both Puri and DVV didn’t speak a word to each other throughout the whole thing.
Also, it is heard that they just took ten minutes to wrap up the press meet and after that, Puri immediately went inside his office. Those who were present are now saying that though a compromise has been reached, it has not really resolved the issues between Puri and Danayya so the cold war still continues.
