Puri – Balayya Film Getting Cancelled??

The latest news is that the new venture which was supposed to have Puri Jagannadh as the director along with Nandamuri Balakrishna as the hero under the producing of Bellamkonda Suresh is likely to be shelved. Puri has been saying that he has approached Balayya with three different stories and they were turned down so he is gearing up with another story to approach Balayya.

However, his close associates say that Puri is completely hurt with all this. It seems that agreeing to work with Balayya itself is a great thing according to Puri so not liking his stories is nothing but insulting him, he feels. Though there are issues when it comes to remuneration, Puri is still not running short of offers as a director. On the other hand, Balakrishna also developed a lot of craze with the success of ‘Simha’. As a result, there are many directors, producers who are showing lot of interest to work with him. Under this situation, many say that the coming together of Puri and Balayya for a film looks slim. All this apart, it is being heard that as part of the case withdrawal of the shooting incident, Balayya has committed to do a film for Bellamkonda Suresh but then he has been dilly dallying the project for the past few years.

Previously, Bellamkonda decided to have a project with Gunasekhar having Balayya in the lead. At that point, he also roped in Nayantara and gave her a remuneration of Rs 1 crore but at the last minute, Balayya had changed his mind and the entire project climbed the shelf. Similarly, Bellamkonda had announced another venture with Balayya having Ramesh Varma of ‘Ride’ fame as the director. It was given a title of ‘Bheeshma’ as well but even this project ended up getting stalled in between. Now, the gossip is getting strong that even the Puri – Balayya film will also join the same league of the two movies that we just mentioned. The coming days will give the true outcome for this one.
