Buzz in the industry that the recent General Body meet of Producer's Council has become a mini war zone with some have come near to raising their hands and some even came close to slap on the face.
The emergency meeting happened on Sunday in the wake of recent allegations that about Rs 2 to 3 Cr was siphoned off from the council account by some insiders.
At the meeting, big producers formed a group and small producers as the other one and each group threw allegations against each other.
In the heat of argument, one producer even came near to slap a big producer. Luckily, a director known for beating heroes and heroines intervened in the matter and averted this slapping game between the producers, told us a producer who was there at the meet.
The heated arguments continued even after that tough the meeting was called off abruptly without discussing the agenda, he added.
