Producer Became Villain For 'Rushi'

One of the recent releases to hit the Tollywood screens is ‘Rushi’ and though the film came in with huge expectations, reports say the film has fizzled out and is unable to draw the audience to the theatres. However, inside talk is that the key person responsible for this is none other than its producer Ramesh Prasad.
 
Apparently, the film marks the comeback of the prestigious Prasad Productions but it is heard that Ramesh Prasad spent nothing more than Rs 1.5 cr to Rs 1.75 cr for this. Someone also suggested to Prasad that around Rs 25 lakhs is required for publicity and that will help give a lot of mileage but Ramesh Prasad reportedly declined it stating even that would be a loss.
 
Given the fact that the big banner is coming back after so many years and not encouraging the film is rather unfortunate, say the cine folks. While it is not sure what made Ramesh Prasad back out of his own project, it remains to be seen how things will take shape when Prasad Productions announces its next project.
