This director made his debut in Tollywood with a small comedy film which turned out to be a big hit. He was immediately offered the chance by a big hero to direct him.
The hero produced the film himself and it ended up as one of the biggest disasters of his career. The hero then lashed out at the director in the media with a viciousness that was unprecedented.
Needless to say, the director did not get any work for two years after that. Only now has he signed a small film with an upcoming hero. This seems to be a common trait in the big hero.
He has the reputation of encouraging new comers. If they deliver a hit, he encourages them again. But if the movie flops, not only does he not give them an opportunity again, he also sees to it that no one else does either.
