Film industry is a place where friends turn foes and foes turn friends within no time. We are not suggesting that there has been a huge showdown, but things are definitely not hunky dory between Pawan Kalyan and Suresh Productions.
When Venkatesh and Pawan came together to do a multi-starrer Gopala Gopala, just about everyone was happy that the two stars put their differences aside and decided to do a film together.
Both the stars gave loads of television interviews, spoke of how much they liked each other and did a lot of public display of camaraderie. Then, the film released and did more than average business at the box office.
And that’s when the cracks began to show. From a happy multi-starrer, the film’s story turned into a murky business deal where one party felt it did not get its due.
For those who are unaware, Sharat Marar produced the film along with Suresh Productions. But after the release, media had reported that Marar was totally unhappy with the way the accounts were handled by Suresh Productions, the other party. In fact, it was said that Pawan had to intervene and call Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions to sort out things.
Now, talk in tinsel ville is that Pawan Kalyan will not be doing the second film that he was supposed to do with Suresh Productions after Gopala Gopala. Though the differences were sorted, Pawan is said to be quite unhappy with the way Suresh Productions dealt with finances of Gopala Gopala.
Well, it is known in Tollywood that Suresh Babu is a shrewd businessman and that he has his style of running the show in the industry.
Another sore point naturally was the fact that since the film has done all the business owing to Pawan Kalyan and his ‘star’ image, Pawan felt that it was not fair on part of Suresh Productions to smudge the accounts.
So, he has decided that he will not do the second film with Suresh Productions.
