When Anisha Ambrose was selected as the heroine for 'Sardar Gabbar Singh’, fans were a bit taken aback for prior to that, she had acted in only one small film ‘Alias Janaki’.
As a trial run, she was also given a small character in ‘Gopala Gopala’. Eventually though, she was replaced with Kajal Agarwal. This led to criticism from some quarters that Pawan had unnecessarily given hope to Anisha Ambrose only to shatter it.
But having watched Anisha Ambrose in ‘Run’, one cannot help feel that Pawan was right in having her replaced.
Anisha struggled to hold her own opposite a small hero like Sundeep Kishen, where then was the question of proving equal to Pawan Kalyan?
It now remains to be seen whether Pawan would also stand justified in replacing Sampath Nandi with Bobby.
