Maverick film maker Ramgopal Verma who boasts that he does not fear anybody while making the film is believed to have tasted the wrath of real factionism of Rayalaseema.
Producer C Kalyan and unit members of his latest film “Raktha Charitra,” who were hosted lunch by Paritala Ravi family, were told in no uncertain terms that Verma would have to pay heavy price if he did not make amends to the story in the second part of the film to be released next month.
“In the first part, Ravi was shown in a bad light, whereas his opponents were shown in a positive angle. The fact is that Ravi had saved the people of Anantapur from the factional violence unleashed by Suri and other rivals. At least in the second part, Verma should make changes and project a correct picture of Ravi. Otherwise, he would have to face dire consequences,” Ravi family members said.
Vivek Oberoi, who donned the role of Ravi, was really frightened with the way Ravi’s followers conveyed the message to the film unit. “In Rayalaseema, the faction-hit families show all the hospitality to the guests. At the same time, they do not mince words in conveying their feelings. Ravi’s followers are as ferocious as they were shown in the film,” a unit member said.
