NTR regularly transfers his donation amounts directly to the CM Relief Fund account through RTGS whenever he makes a contribution.
He follows a personal rule of announcing his donations only after they’ve been made.
He has done this several times in the past, whether donating to the Telangana or Andhra Pradesh governments, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He consistently avoids meeting Chief Ministers for photo ops when donating, a practice he has adhered to over the years.
Recently, after the floods, NTR once again followed this approach. He did not meet either Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh or Revanth Reddy in Telangana, choosing instead to transfer the donation amounts directly to their respective CM Relief Fund accounts.
An insider mentioned, "This doesn’t sit well with Revanth Reddy, as he expects film heroes and bigwigs to personally meet him, at least in the name of handing over a check. When he misses that personal interaction, he tends to show his displeasure in decisions, such as granting ticket hike permissions for films by those celebrities."
While the accuracy of this statement is unverified, it is reported that NTR is preparing to participate in an Anti-Drug Ad campaign to align with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, much like many other actors have done.
