When a film has so many links with Puri, then how can he be kept aside when it comes to taking the brickbats?
It is a well-known fact that Puri takes his films very lightly and that no hero has been spared the impact of his ‘easy-going’ attitude. NTR had Andhrawala, Ravi Teja had Devudu Chesina Manushulu, Rana had Nenu Naa Rakshasi, Bunny had Iddarammayilatho and Pawan Kalyan had his share with Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu.
Mahesh would have also had his name included in the list, but thanks to Dookudu, Businessman did good business. As for Charan, megastar and Allu Arvind made sure that he did not get to work with Puri yet again.
So, after giving such huge flops to top heroes in the industry, how can Puri spare his own brother?
Well, that’s when he gave him the Romeo script. It is being said that the producer gave up on the film during the film’s shooting as he was sure of its fate.
Though many kept away from the film for a very long time, Touchstone’s Doraiswamy finally came forward to bail out the venture. Now, NTR and Bandla Ganesh are totally stressed as to how their film would shape up.
