But talk in industry is that Kalyanram is in trouble financially as he had settled old and new loans with the money he made with Pataas.
Also, Kick 2 has been a costly production and the latest gossip in industry is that the film now has a deficit of Rs 10 crores. That said, another hot topic of discussion in Film Nagar is that NTR Jr has bailed out his brother as regards the film.
However, it is said that instead of loaning money, NTR is said to have given his word for his brother. Also, he has announced that he will soon do a film for NTR Arts Banner.
Since Kalyanram will end up in big trouble if Kick 2 does not release towards this month end, this gesture will surely bail him out. And industry insiders feel that Kick 2's success will keep Kalyanram safe.
