Amongst all the roles in the film industry, donning the role of a producer is the toughest and thankless one. From a distance it looks like a producer is the king but in reality it is not so. This was once again testified by a big producer who has few words of wisdom to share for the new producers.
He said “The position of producers is like Peddapuram prostitutes. The heroes and heroines always have upper hand. They show no respect to producers and the producers should listen to them for taking the cast and crew of a film. They give a feeling that whatever you are giving is very less and they are just doing a favor by taking up this role.”
He added “Money is gone and self-respect is smashed. Instead of that, it is better to go to Las Vegas and spending that amount in gambling. If we win then double the money, if not then at least we will live in top luxuries and full five star treatment. Aspiring producers should keep that in mind, there is no value for them at all. He must be having everything but still the cheapest treatment is given to the producer. Only while breaking coconut for a film, his family is allowed to take photos with the actors. That’s what they allow. And if it is small film producers then there is absolutely no importance and respect given to them by the actors.”
