Parental Pressure – how many times have we heard of this ‘idiotic’ thing? But aren’t film stars, demi gods in our country, supposed to be free from those? Well ‘NO’ seems to be the answer at least in the case of dancing sensation and actor-director Prabhudeva and Kerala siren Nayanathara. Rumor mills worked overtime for a number of months now about the couple’s ‘special friendship’ a.k.a dating.
However, it looks like the party is over as Nayanathara, faced with a string of flops to her credit, succumbed to the pressure of her parents who feel that the actress’ relationship with Prabhudeva isn’t doing her any good and that it is the main reason for their daughter’s sagging career.
The relationship is believed to have started on the sets of ‘Villu’ but Nayanathara now decided to take control of the situation and decided to prefer her career to her relationship with the actor-director after a string of flops like Kuselan, Satyam, Villu and Aegan, the first two films of which are also dubbed into Telugu but haven’t given her any success.
The actress is currently concentrating on her work and pinning all hopes on her upcoming flicks that include Bodyguard, in her mother tongue Malayalam,’ Aadhavan’ in Tamil, ‘Adurs’ with Jr. NTR in Telugu and a yet to be titled socio fantasy Telugu film to be directed by Kodi Rama Krishna, who is on a high after ‘Arundathi’. Hope lady luck smiles on her with the stupendous success of these films.
