It is not often that we get to see lady directors in the film fraternity and that too in the somewhat conventional south cinema industry. But slowly things are changing and even Tollywood has begun to see a few. One among them is Nandini Reddy and when she made her debut movie ‘Ala Modalaindi’ many saw a star director in her.
But even before that credit can be strengthened Nandini came with ‘Jabardasth’ and turned out to be a flop director. However, sources say her flop story doesn’t start here. She had one flop story before she got into films. Apparently, there is news that Nandini opened a restaurant in Secunderabad once.
This was called ‘Nanditha’s’ and it was near the St Anns educational institution in Secunderabad. Buzz is that the restaurant also turned out to be a big flop and only after that she got into movies. While her enthusiasm to do something is appreciated, it is better she plans her moves carefully the next time or else it might end up like ‘Nanditha’s’.
