Speculations are high that Akkineni Akhil will be making his debut as an actor in 2015. Many directors’ names were under consideration and our sources informed us that VV Vinayak is likely to direct the debut movie of Akhil.
Vinayak is one of the top directors in Tollywood and he is regarded as the filmmaker who has redefined Mass films in Tollywood.
His recent film 'Alludu Seenu' minted money at the box-office and Bellamkonda Srinivas made an impressive debut with this film.
Alludu Seenu opened up with average reviews but Vinayak's brand name managed to pull the crowds into theaters.
Impressed with this, Akkineni Nagarjuna called VV Vinayak personally and requested him to direct Akhil's debut movie.
Many rumors were speculated that Vinayak might be directing Chiranjeevi or Mahesh Babu but this director didn't confirm any project.
Nagarjuna wants to produce the debut movie of Akhil under Annapurna Studios banner and Vinayak is yet to give his nod for this film.
