He is known as the big budget movie maker of the Telugu circuit and there was a time when his movies rocked the box office. He is none other than M S Raju fondly known as Makara Sankranthi Raju since almost all his movies have hit the screens during the Sankranthi festival.
However, the past glory is now lost as Raju is said to be going through a financial crunch. Reports say that he has now gone in to mortgage one of his property in Gachibowli and raise a loan. It seems that he has no cash in hand for next movie and is keen on coughing up some.
It is also said that M S Raju is seriously looking at launching his son Sumanth Ashwin and this has been on the agenda since the past year or so.
