There are rumors that all is not well between Surender Reddy and Nandamuri Kalyan ram. This is affecting the release of Kick 2. And more trouble seems to be in store for Surender Reddy.
After Kick 2, he is committed to a project with Ram Charan. Now Ram Charan is busy with Srinu Vaitla’s movie and he made Kona Venkat and Srinu Vaitla patch up for this movie.
Industry sources say that Ram Charan has conveyed to Surender Reddy that he wants Kona Venkat to work on his next project as well.
And since Kona Venkat works in combo with Gopi Mohan, it means there is no place on the team for writer Vakkantham Vamsi, the man behind Surender Reddy’s success.
Also, Vamsi has been trying for some time now to branch out on his own as a director. If he is not part of Surender Reddy’s next project, Kick 2 could easily be the last project for Vamsi and Surender Reddy.
