The unsavoury incident that took place at the residence of senior actor-producer M Mohan Babu on Wednesday night in which his followers and private security personnel beat up Brahmins indiscriminately for protesting against his latest film Denikaina Ready, has caught him in a tight spot.
Mohan Babu, who had returned from Chennai on Thursday night, is learnt to have pulled up his security people and followers in strong words for reacting so wildly on a handful of Brahmins who protested before his residence. Since the incidents were prominently highlighted in the media, all the evidences were clearly against his son Vishnu and his followers.
The police authorities also expressed helplessness as the media was very much present there. Since the issue has gone up to the State Human Rights Commission and thus, has gone out of proportions, Mohan Babu has clearly landed in soup. He did not speak to the media after his return from Chennai and is now trying for a damage control exercise, say sources.
