It is heard that producer Natti Kumar got a whiff that Law minister Yerasu Prathap Reddy has got a strong craze for cinema. That’s it, he immediately offered Prathap Reddy a role of Home Minister in Jagapathi Babu’s ‘Chattam’. Being a minister himself, the moment he got the role Yerasu was floating in air and despite his busy schedules, it seems he used to come to the shooting spot on time.
Having links with a minister and its benefits is something Natti Kumar is fully aware of. With this, he went ahead and offered Yerasu another powerful role in his other project ‘Black Money’ which has Jagapathi Babu again. Usually, the goal of any minister is to become CM and that’s why Natti got Yerasu the role of CM.
Yerasu is heading the Congress party from Kurnool and Srisailam constituencies. Due to his close links with CM Kiran Kumar, he got a ministerial portfolio. Instead of using this opportunity, he is busy donning roles and looking at this, the opposition is having a feast. Now, the film ‘Chattam’ is releasing today so it remains to be seen if this will give Yerasu further opportunities as an actor.
