Megastar Chiranjeevi’s plans have turned upside down due to the third wave of coronavirus. He has been signing films left and right.
Proving that he still has enthusiasm and energy, the 66-year-old actor put on four film shootings on the floors at one time. But the release schedule is not in his hands.
He wanted to earn Rs 200 crore in two years. Thus he announced many films. After completing them, he wanted to announce another batch of films.
Today, all top stars are getting more than Rs 50 crore as remuneration. Chiranjeevi wanted to earn this big money as quickly as possible.
But COVID-19 is continuing to create havoc. “Acharya” has been postponed one more time. The film that was slated for February 4th will now release on April 29th. Of course, conditions will apply.
As “Acharya” is getting delayed, he has to rethink the release order of his other films that are in production.
Had there been no Covid issue, he would have released three films by now. He would have earned another 150 crores in the next two years. But now, he will have to wait for another two years.
