Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is known for his liberal attitude. He married a top heroine and brought another top heroine as his daughter-in-law. He did not hesitate to accept them as his family members, despite the fact that they had acted in glamorous roles.
But there are reports now that Amitabh is not able to digest the fact that his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai acted in some intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in a yet-to-be released film – Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
She played a very glamorous role in this film and romanced with Ranbir, who is younger to her. This has not gone down well with Amitabh and there are reports that he got those intimate scenes censored. Of course, there were immediate denials for such rumours.
But there is an evidence to prove that Amitabh is not happy with Aish acting in such intimate scenes with Ranbir.
In the past, Amitabh welcomed his daughter-in-law acting in films after delivering her baby. He gave a lot of publicity to her film “Sarabjit” and even tweeted its posters and trailer, just like he does for his son Abishek’s films.
But now, Amitabh has not posted any such posters, first looks and trailers of Aishwarya’s latest film with Ranbir. The reason is simple: In Sarabjit, Aish appeared in a totally de-glamorous character, whereas in Ae Dil …, she did very intimate and romantic scenes.
So, it is very clear that Amitabh was not happy to see Aish romancing with other hero. Is it right?
