Senior director YVS Chowdary has taken few risks as a producer in the past and came out winning.
He is once again in a position to risk all his hard earned money to help his film Rey see the light of the day.
Rey has been under production for quite some time and Director/Producer YVS has spent a bomb on it.
As per unofficial reports Rey’s budget was over 30 crores rupees including all the delays and wastages.
This film didn’t get the attention of buyers due to YVS’s poor form, not so attractive star cast and also bad music. YVS is in a situation that he has to release Rey all by his own.
In spite of the fact that the leading man Sai Dharam Tej is Chiranjeevi’s nephew Chowdary is not getting any support from Mega family.
Allu Aravind is not interested to buy the distribution rights for any area. Instead he is happy to produce Sai Dharam’s second film.
Chowdary planned to release Rey on May 9th but that is not going to happen as per latest updates.
Someone has to bail this film out for Chowdary. Maybe Chiranjeevi and Pawan might pay attention to Rey once they are done with the elections and results. Until then Rey will have to wait.
