Mega Compound To Blacklist This Lyricist?

Mega Compound To Blacklist This Lyricist?

Ramajogayya Sastry, a lyricist, often finds himself in controversies—either due to his slip of the tongue, angry tweets or due to the misinterpretation of his words by fans or the media.

During the song release of Guntur Kaaram, one of his tweets was understood to have called fans "dogs." This angered Mahesh Babu fans, who trolled him extensively.

Sastry later provided an explanation and remained silent, and eventually, the issue settled as it was a fan-related matter.

However, in a recent interview, while discussing Devara, Sastry made a statement: "Evari pani vaallani chesukonisthe result Devara la untundi" (meaning, "If everyone was made to stick to his own work, the result will be like Devara").

This comment reportedly caused a stir within the Mega compound, according to sources. Although no one from the Mega camp openly countered Ramajogayya Sastry, they have become critical of him.

There’s a reason behind this reaction. It's widely rumored that Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan interfered with the direction of Acharya, which is believed to be a key reason the film flopped.

Director Koratala Siva also hinted at this in recent interviews indirectly, which caught the attention of the media.

Since Ramajogayya Sastry's comment echoed a similar line, it appeared as though he was reinforcing Koratala Siva's feelings.

As this issue directly involves Chiranjeevi and his son, an insider close to mega camp, claims that Ramajogayya may apparently get blacklisted by the Mega camp.

In response, Ramajogayya gave an explanation on Twitter.

He wrote, "I meant that Koratala Siva garu gives freedom to technicians. Please don't make it controversial."

However, this explanation seemed more like an attempt at damage control.

Every director gives freedom to technicians, and there was no need to make such a controversial statement, especially when the issue of Chiranjeevi’s interference in Acharya is still a sensitive topic.

An insider from the Mega camp says, "Chiranjeevi garu took the time to attend Ramajogayya's son's marriage as well. But still, making such a comment that hurts him is unacceptable. Whether the comment is direct, indirect, a slip of the tongue, or a deliberate attempt, it shouldn't hurt Megastar or his camp. Once the relationship is strained, it's difficult to patch things up. Mistake already happened."

We have to see what attempts Ramajogayya Sastry makes to patch things up with the Mega compound and how willing the Mega camp is to consider reconciliation.
