Career in the film industry is often perceived to be a life of glamour, rich money, attention, fame and success. But there is a hard truth to it. Not all those who come to the industry have a red carpet welcome and a bed of roses waiting. In fact, the percentage of those who are sacrificing many things just to make ends meet is high.
The talk now is about a married actress who was famous for her conventional roles and traditional image. Though she had a decent start to her career, luck ran out soon and she didn’t have offers. With nothing to do and livelihood becoming a problem it is heard that she has begun ‘compromising’ for money.
Sources say this is happening in a very close circuit and even her husband who is also part of the film industry is aware of that. There are many who would say how bad it is and call it a shameful act but this is the reality of life in cine industry. Many who come here know nothing but acting and cinema. Since they cannot do anything outside but still have to lead a life, they end up ‘compromising’. Sad but true!
