There is no question about Mahesh Babu's domination at overseas box office. He is the only hero who can get Million Dollars in US with disastrous films.
That doesn’t mean he can score blockbuster with each and every film. Overseas buyers have lost money when Mahesh movies didn’t live up to expectations.
Mahesh is ignoring the flops and demanding high price for his next film Brahmotsavam as if it is a sure shot blockbuster.
As per trade reports Mahesh Babu is quoting Rs 13 crore for overseas rights of Brahmotsavam for which he is one of the producers.
Mahesh ‘s Srimanthudu collected around 13 crore share in overseas market and hence he is putting this heavy price tag on Brahmotsavam.
Srimanthudu was able to collect 13 crore only because it was a blockbuster. Can Mahesh guarantee similar success with Brahmotsavam?
What if this film misfires like 1 Nenokkadine and Aagadu? Overseas market is highly unpredictable and nobody could guess a film’s stamina prior to the release.
Heroes and producers should come up with better plans rather quoting such nightmarish prices and scare them away.
