Prince Mahesh Babu who has been off the screen from nearly two years is currently said to be happy. Well, the reason for that is the buzz that he is happy because he turned down the movie ‘Leader’ which came to him initially. And some say that it was the right move.
Apparently, had the movie been made with Mahesh, it would have collapsed since the flavor of the story was lacking the action elements which fits the image of Mahesh. Since it was Rana, it went well with him. And with many loose ends in the movie, especially during the end, it would not have been a proper comeback for Mahesh. Sekhar Kammula has got thumping attention with eth success of Happy Days and many big heroes had shown interest to listen to his stories. But with Leader he got mixed response in the industry. Many say that it is hard for him to direct big heroes. We have to see how he combats that impression.
For now, Mahesh is busy with the Trivikram project and some say that even this one has been stalled for overshooting the financial budget. The general thought is that if at least Mahesh was with ‘Leader’, his fans would have had the consolation of seeing him on the screen.
