The Kannada version of the much hyped film “Body Guard” with Jaggesh in the lead role was released on Monday in all parts of Karnataka.
The initial talk is that the film has not gone down well with the Kannada audience. It received a flop talk in some centers and below-average talk in some.
Earlier, there was a similar response to “Kaavalan,” the Tamil version of the same film with Vijay in main lead. It also couldn’t do the expected business.
In Telugu, “Body Guard” with Victory Venkatesh in the lead role is all set for release. The poor talk in Tamil and Kannada are now causing jitters in Venkatesh fans. However, Venkatesh is believed to have taken enough care to be different from the Kannada and Tamil versions.
According to sources, several changes were made in the original script and adequate care was taken to make it an action entertainer that suits to the taste of Telugu audience.
If that is true, then the film goes to the safe zone comfortably. It is only the right sense of comedy that makes a film successful. And let us wish that the film “Body Guard” in Telugu stands up to the image of Venkatesh. Even the fans of Venkatesh are expecting the same.
All the best Venky!
