Of late, Kajal Aggarwal has been shying away from taking up Telugu offers.
The buzz doing rounds is that she is on the verge of quitting Tollywood.
This has raised many eyeballs and has become the talking point in tinsel town as she shares a great bond with Telugu people.
In fact, her debut as a lead heroine was with a Telugu film Lakshmi Kalyanam. After back-to-back hits Magadheera, Darling, Brindavanam, Mr Perfect, Businessman, Naayak and Baadshah, Kajal Aggarwal was undoubtedly considered the uncrowned queen of Tollywood.
But what’s forcing her to move away from T-town is the big question that is bothering many in the industry.
Though many say that Kajal is charging a bomb and that it could be one of the reasons behind not finalizing deals, interestingly, many producers are keen on paying her the remuneration she has been demanding and they have admitted it openly.
Moreover, when Tamil producers and Hindi producers could pay her, why can’t Telugu producers? So, remuneration, apparently, is not the actual cause.
The real problem, according to grapevine, is her split with a hunk hero. Apparently, she had loved him very much, but parted ways later. Buzz is that Kajal wants to stay away from him as much as she can and this might be the reason for not acting in Telugu films. But soon after the duo split, she acted in a handful of Telugu films. And this is apparently because of her previous commitments with the producers.
Whatever may be the reason, this piece of news is hurting her fans. If she quits T-town, her last Telugu film would be Jr NTR-starrer Baadshah.
However, sources close to the actress denied the rumours by claiming that she loves Tollywood very much and she treats all languages alike.
They say, “She (Kajal) is just going to take a break, but will not be quitting the Telugu film industry.”
Hope Singham star would reconcile her decision and enthrall Telugu audiences soon.
