Jr NTR has become the captain of Studio N but he is facing tough time with financials. He reduced the costs from Rs 1 Cr per month to Rs 50 lakh. But still it is becoming difficult to pump money as per inside sources. A hasty decision resulted in this phenomenon, say some.
With an idea to start a separate entertainment channel, the rights of dubbing films were bought in big way, resulting in blocking the money. In fact, it becomes very expensive for the channel to buy straight films. But the further costs in starting an entertainment channel is bringing sweat for Jr NTR. After all, he is not a politician. All that he is investing on channel is his hard earned money.
Ever since Jr NTR married Lakhmi Pranathi, the daughter of Narne Sreenivas Rao, the Studio N head, things have changed for him. With a motive to become a media baron on par with acting in films, Jr NTR took over the channel. But he came to know the real pains in running a channel only after getting in.
The bottom line here is many film celebrities jump to start channels but only Nagarjuna was successful. Dasari announced D channel but that never started. Chiranjeevi has been saying about own channel from last 1 year but nothing happened till now. Everyone knows that it costs big and returns are tough in this competition.
