'Janatha Garage' has completed its censor formalities but the work on editing table is still going. Director Koratala Siva is now working with the movie's editor to trim down the runtime.
The film has received positive feedback from Censor Board members but some of them complained over the lengthy runtime in the second half. Koratala Siva reportedly agreed with their view and is now working on it before the release.
Recently many big movies suffered slightly due to the complaint of lengthy runtime from the audiences. If the movies had shortened its length, they would have become bigger hits. Realising this now, Koratala is trimming the movie by 8 to 10 minutes in the second half. And rest of the movie will be untouched.
Since the film is crucial to both NTR and Koratala Siva, the director is leaving no stone unturned to make it a blockbuster. NTR needs this movie to cross more than Rs 60, 70 Crs, while Koratala needs to prove that he can deliver blockbusters with any hero.
"Janatha Garage" featuring NTR, Mohanlal, Samantha and Nithya Menen is produced by Maithri Movie Makers. It is releasing on 1st September worldwide, with USA premieres on 31st August.
