Photos from his recent Dubai trip — where he was seen in a blue printed shirt and black pants — quickly went viral, showcasing his visibly leaner frame.
While many fans praised the RRR star’s new look, others expressed concern, with speculation surfacing that he might be using Ozempic.
Ozempic, a diabetes medication, has gained popularity among celebrities for its weight-loss effects. However, a source close to Jr NTR has rubbished such claims.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, the insider clarified, “NTR is healthy and not on Ozempic, if that’s what people are wondering. He’s been on a new diet and fitness regimen since February for his next film with Prashanth Neel. The transformation is purely due to that.”
The upcoming film, tentatively titled #NTRNeel (reportedly Dragon), marks the first collaboration between Jr NTR and KGF and Salaar director Prashanth Neel.
The big-budget action film is slated for release on January 9, 2026, with Jr NTR set to join the sets from April 22.
Before that, Jr NTR will make his Bollywood debut in War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.
Directed by Brahmāstra filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, the film is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe.
A sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, War 2 is scheduled for a grand release on August 14, 2025, ahead of Independence Day weekend.
