Right from the time Akhil's debut movie was launched, Film Nagar people have started to discuss regarding Nagarjuna being partial towards Akhil. There is a strong reason behind this interesting discussion.
Naga Chaitanya made his debut film with Vasu Varma, a newcomer. Though the theme of that film (Josh) was good, many felt that it was not a perfect film for a debutant.
After that, Naga Chaitanya appeared in Gautham Menon’s ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’. This film was a moderate success at the box-office and Chaitanya received appreciation for his performance.
On the other hand, Akhil got VV Vinayak as the director for his debut film. Vinayak is one of the topmost filmmakers in Tollywood who is famous for giving mass images to his lead actors. This untitled film is supposed to be made with a budget of 30-35 crores.
According to our sources, Akhil’s second film might be with Trivikram Srinivas, another top director in Tollywood.
It is too early to compare between the Akkineni brothers, but speculations have already started that Nagarjuna is partial towards his younger son Akhil.
