Though it is being claimed that the film has been remade from the original, those who watched the trailer said it is not showing any flavor of the original. There is also news that since this is not the remake of the original, Amitabh Bachchan reportedly refused to be a part of it.
The other information is that just to promote and create a hype for Ram Charan in Bollywood, both Chiranjeevi and director Apoorva Lakhia have sketched this project as a remake of ‘Zanjeer’. As such, the film revolves around oil mafia and the original had nothing to do with that subject. But let us wait for the film’s release and then decide.
