Six months have passed since the release of blockbuster “Sarrainodu”, yet director Boyapati Srinivas is not taking his next movie to the sets.
“Sarrainodu” is biggest hit in Boyapati’s career. Still he is finding issues with producers. His new film has got new producer as the earlier producer had tiff with Bellamkonda Suresh and dropped off from producing it. So, the film is back to square one. When will it commence the shoot is a big question.
Boyapati took huge advance from Bellamkonda Suresh even before the release of “Sarrainodu” to direct his hero son Bellamkonda Srinivas of “Alludu Seenu” and “Speedunnodu” fame.
After the release of Allu Arjun’s movie, several big stars approached him but Bellamkonda insisted on completing this first as the director took huge remuneration for this. Then the leading distribution house Abhishek Pictures came forward to debut in film production.
Abhishek Pictures took a special office near Durgam Cheruvu in Madhapur and did house-warming ceremony.
When all set for the commencement of the movie’s shoot, trouble began. Bellamkonda Suresh reportedly has started taking all decisions regarding the movie producing from casting to budgeting making the producer Abhishek Nama a dummy. This led to Abhishek’s walk out from this project.
Now M Ravinder Reddy who produced Naga Chaitanya’s “Saahsam Swaasaga Saagipo” is producing this movie.
On the other hand, Bellamkonda and others say Abhishek Pictures is a bubble that is going to burst soon.
Abhishek got name when they bought rights of “Srimanthudu” for Nizam area for a whopping amount. As the movie became all-time second biggest hit, over night they became popular. They went on distributing several biggies. Later they announced five films including Boypati’s but only two went to the sets.
Now there are rumors floating around that the company is in deep financial mess and may stop all of them.
On one hand, Bellamkonda camp say the trouble is because of financial issues of Abhishek Pictures, the camp of Abhishek say they walked out of Boyapati’s film due to high-handedness of Bellamkonda Suresh. Truth lies somewhere between these two arguments.
