Chennai: Remember Karthik who had acted in hits films like Anveshana and Abhinandana and many more memorable films in Telugu and Tamil?
Right now, he has more or less retired from acting and his son Gautham Karthik has taken over from his father.
The latest news about this ageing star is that he has had to move out following a dispute with his siblings over property matters.
If we get into the details, Karthik was a well-established actor during the 1980s and 1990s both in Tamil and Telugu.
His father Muthuraman was also a settled actor in Tamil who owned many commercial establishments in Chennai’s Alwarpet locality.
Today, the properties are worth many crores and Karthik has been residing in the ancestral house of Muthuraman till recently.
Karthik apart, Muthuraman has another son and other daughters. Recently, the siblings ended up fighting over property and Karthik had to vacate the house he has lived for so long.
Though Karthik had claimed his rightful share in his father’s property, his siblings did not budge.
Now, Karthik is trying to consult lawyers to reclaim his share in the property owned by his father and his ancestors.
