Puli is all set to release on October 1. The film stars Tamil superstar Vijay, who incidentally does not have a very large market here.
While heroes Surya and Vikram have about Rs 15 crore market. On the other hand, Vijay has a market share of Rs 2 to Rs 3 crores.
Meanwhile, the producers out here are investing high amounts on Vijay's Puli as the genre is in trend right now.
The producers of Puli in Telugu bought the film's rights for Rs 8 crores and they are already in safe zone.
While Vijay does not have that market, it is felt that Sridevi's presence and the SFX loaded socio-fantasy film will work with Telugu audiences.
