Seems like all the distributors were royally duped by director-producer Gunasekhar as latest reports trickling in that Rudramadevi 3D got postponed from October 9th to an unspecified later date.
Gunasekhar is expected to make a new announcement about this change, a prominent distributor, who deeply disappointed by the filmmaker’s false promises, told us.
No reason was cited for the latest goof-up, he added. The buyers believed him when he made recent announcement about the release date of his 3D historical movie, Rudramadevi in local newspapers with huge advertisements.
Also as promotions for Hindi version have started, they thought he would not be changing the release date.
Since a lot of postproduction work is still pending, Gunasekhar has no option but postpone the date. This would be the 8th or 9th postponement related to this movie. Must be a record too.
As Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee is releasing on 16th of October and Akhil’s maiden movie on 22nd, it is unlikely that it would hit the screens next month.
November or December is the only choice Gunasekhar have now, if he really postpones the movie.
