Gossip: Venkatesh-Rajasekhar 'Gangarpanam'

It was with great hype and hoopla that the film ‘Ganga’ was announced and the reason for the hype was hero Venkatesh was meant to be portrayed in a never before rugged character in that. The man behind the entire concept and script was choreographer – director Amma Rajasekhar.
 
However, the latest news has arrived and it is confirmed that the film has been shelved. Apparently, the script was not said to be up to the mark and even the story reached a dead end of sorts after sometime. It seems that there was not much substance in the product.
 
So now, Venky is going through few other script sessions for his next venture while Amma Rajasekhar has gone back to his choreography and other assignments. Those who predicted that this venture was doubtful right from the start are now having a smile on their faces.
