Puri Jagannath is the director in top league that is known with his path breaking film Pokiri even now. His immense talent that pulls masses to theaters is known for all. But a few months back he announced ‘Rajasekhara Reddy’ movie with hero Rajasekhar. And that was stalled. Little earlier to that he announced a movie with Mahesh Babu in the production of Rajani Kanth’s daughter Aishwarya. Even that was shelved. Around that time he also announced a project with Pawan Kalyan as hero. Apart from all this he also made arrangements to direct Amitabh Bachchan for a Hindi movie.
Besides, he also announced in a Press Meet that he is going to produce films even with big directors like VV Vinayak, Srinu Vatla etc in association with Aditya Ram who made Ek Niranjan. Both Vaitla and VV were there in the Press Meet and they expressed their thanks to Puri as well.
Now, sources say that except Balayya’s movie, Puri has got nothing in hand. People say he is desperate now and agreeing to do films at highly reasonable rate.
Source also say that he was drowned in debts and finding hard to pay laks of Rs as interest every month. He looked for a producer who can pay him good price.
Hence Bellomkonda signed Balayya’s movie with him and announced on grand scale to make him more committed.
