Producers are often bound by the demands of big heroes. But when it comes to small heroes, many times the producers do have the upper hand.
In this particular case, a small producer made a film with a lesser-known hero, expecting support from a renowned production banner. However, it has been rumored in Tollywood that the hero was subjected to constant humiliation and disrespect.
One aspect of this mistreatment is cutting campaign costs. However, the situation became even more demeaning when the hero's team had to stay in a hotel for campaigning in Visakhapatnam.
Although the producer had booked the rooms, he made certain things clear only to the hotel management but not the hero.
Consequently, the hotel staff informed them that only the room rents would be covered by the producer, while the food bills should be paid by the hero. This revelation not only shocked the hero during the check-out process but also left him feeling deeply humiliated.
Furthermore, the hero faced an additional setback when there was a last-minute reduction of forty percent in the originally agreed remuneration.
Although the hero seemed unable to voice any objections, he made the decision to see the release of his film.
However, considering the treatment received from this producer, it raises the question of whether any other hero would be willing to allocate dates to them in the future.
