Gopichand took a huge risk for his previous film which was released a week after Aagadu and a week before Govindudu Andarivadele.
Luckily the gamble paid off for him as Loukyam went onto become one of the biggest hits of 2014. Aagadu’s failure and GAV’s average show helped Loukyam to score super hit during the Dussera season.
Now Gopichand is all set to take on Allu Arjun early in this summer.
Gopichand’s Jil is slated for release on March 27th and Allu Arjun’s S/O Satyamurthy will release on April 2nd as per the official press note.
So many expectations are riding on S/O Satyamurthy and it will surely show effect upon the competitors. Jil has six days of time to cash in on the summer advantage.
Jil should get pretty good talk and hope S/O Satyamurthy doesn’t hit the bull’s eye. There will be a big release on every Friday in this summer.
So it is not going to be easy for any movie to survive without good mouth talk. With Satyamurthy reserving the first weekend of April, Balakrishna’s Lion and Anushka’s Rudramadevi should target April 2nd/3rd week release.
