Director Puri Jagannath is very busy these days. At present, he is doing the film “Ism” with Kalyan Ram in Spain. Then what about his earlier film “Rogue” which began shooting long ago?
Rogue is featuring a new hero Ishan, son of producer Manohar, who is very close friend of Tollywood hero Srikanth.
Puri has taken up this project following package system on the lines of his guru Ram Gopal Varma. It does mean, if the producer funds certain amount, Puri will make this film bearing all the other expenses and gives the first copy.
According to sources, Puri has taken up this film at a total package of Rs 20 crore. Actually, this is more than enough to complete the film. However, Puri was bogged down with some old issues that affected making of Rogue. So, he kept the film in abeyance and started another project Ism.
It is learnt there is still a 20-day shooting remaining for completing Rogue. Interestingly, heroine Charmee is reportedly looking after the financial matters for this film.
There is a talk that Charmee is very strict in financial management and she controls the expenditure perfectly. Yet, Puri had to face financial troubles for Rogue. Why is it so?
