Anything is good in limits. But if it goes overboard, even comedy becomes unbearable.
After taking the audience for granted and hoping that they will laugh at anything and everything, the makers of Extra Jabardasth on ETV woke up to a rude shock.
Jabardasth which was inspired by Comedy Circus did have the audience in splits in the past. Though the show had many double entendre dialogues, it was still liked by many.
Then the makers announced Extra Jabardasth and it was telecast this Friday. However, instead of having the audience in splits, the show made the audience laugh helplessly.
As usual, the show was full of ‘jokes’ over extra-marital relationships, wife and husband relationships and double meaning dialogues. But instead of amusing, it turned out to be a huge bore.
In fact, instead of good comedy, the show is full of non-sense that tests the patience of the audiences.
Also, while people like Chitram Srinu have been relegated to television, cheap comedians from Jabardasth are ruling the roost in films.
