Hyderabad: He belongs to old school of filmmaking – from story ideas to his lifestyle smell of bygone era. In the olden days, several filmmakers used to have plenty of one-night stands or short affairs with heroines.
As heroines of this generation are highly educated and come from filmy/modeling background and the new age directors also are smart, the allegations of ‘casting couch” have died.
But this particular Tollywood director who has high ratio of success is said to have turned too lecherous. He seeks pleasure from the starlets for the chance he has given to them is what being heard in the industry now. He takes mostly new heroines or struggling actress so that he would have less problem with them.
His films are like David Dhawan’s movies – only for entertainment. So, he has acquired many hits. Despite no producer or star recognizes him as a ‘talented director’, he is in demand due to his capacity of making average grosser or hit movies.
After delivering couple of hits, the director is said to be putting these demands about heroines to the producers directly and he is reportedly more occupied with these activities than making of the movie. He also takes too much of alcohol and two rounds of it he can’t be handled by anyone, says a source.
His attitude has become too unbearable and shameful, they add. His films are already flopping these days as he is leaving the direction job to assistants and he focusing on “other matters”.
