Though he had a great start to his career and earned himself the name of Mass Maharaja without the help of any Godfather, the graph of Ravi Teja has been going through a downslide from a while. In the recent past, barring films like ‘Kick’ ‘Don Seenu’ ‘Mirapakai’ ‘Sambo Siva Sambo’ the rest of the films became duds.
Notable among them are ‘Nippu’ ‘Daruvu’ ‘Saar Osthara’. The summation of all this has cast doubts and speculations over the much talked about project of his titled as ‘Power’. This was to be directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Vijayendra Prasad. The buzz is that the film has gone into the backburner.
Grapevine is that Vijayendra Prasad was not keen to pump Rs 25 crores on a flop hero and director. However, when asked about it, Meher Ramesh has reportedly quashed it as a rumour and reiterated that the project is very much on and it didn’t take off because he and Ravi Teja have been busy with other works. Let us see what will happen to ‘Power’ now.
